Ayote green squash is a rare Guatemalan landrace pumpkin with green-fleshed fruit that has a tropical, sweet flavor & a creamy, fruity taste reminiscent of butternut squash when cooked. Raw, it has tropical, fruity notes . I do love squash all kinds but this is now my favorite. The flavor is very rich and cooked consistency is so smooth & creamy .
