I never paid much attention to the Celosia plant beautiful and fuzzy but I just never thought to much about it until now. This year I decided to give them a try and I grew them from seed. This velvety flower came up in all mixes of colors and shapes . They remind me of coral or some undersea garden. They really are so beautiful and they dry just as they look. The seeds fall out of the fuzzy neck while drying so they are easy to collect. Also the whole plant is edible and has some medicinal properties. I made some Tea from a pink Flower and it made a beautiful pink colored tea. I tastes like a earthy green tea. I will be growing these for now on mostly for the dryed flower uses. They stay soft and velvety and rich in color . Today I moved them into the greenhouse in hope of getting a larger harvest before winter. Now the greenhouse is full of a tropical vibrant color and makes me want to sit and enjoy it.
