Dried Floral Bouquets

Sure to brighten up your home . These are such a nice touch to have around when cut flower season is over. You can make these last for years with proper care. Keep them out of the sun as it will make the color fade. Also try to put them in a place where they will not get bumped around a lot. I have some that look just the same as when I first dried them 3 years ago. These bouquets all start from seed or a plant that I grow here on the farm. I harvest and dry them all in a cool little check out Shed I have put together . I hang them from the rafters until dry . The Strawflower doesn't have a very sturdy Stem so I dry the flower heads and then attach them to dried Lilly stems . Most people insert a green wire in place of the stem but I don't like that look . I prefer a more organic look. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do. These are all slightly different from one another in color they all have Strawflower and Statice flowers and sometimes a bit of others added in when I have them.
